Appirode Costumes is a San Francisco based fashion and costume company. Founded by partners Hailey Appie and Kristina Nestlerode; they both developed the concept for the business while studying at the Academy of Art University, where they met in an advanced costume class. Using specialized techniques like mold making, corsetry, electronics, and metal working, there company strives to think outside the box in developing unique solutions to design and create costumes that are just as much functional as they are works of art.
